I just moved here from Phoenix, AZ (and the weather here is so much nicer!), and I really want to help students do well in their classes. It's not enough for me to see students just passing. I want to see them truly understand the material, and I want them to understand why their education is important. I want them to understand not just that their education will give them job opportunities, but also that an education will let them see the world and change it to a better place. I'm hoping to go to grad school to get a MFA in creative writing, and my ultimate career goal is to teach.
