I attended high school in San Diego and graduated with an unweighted 3.77 GPA. I took AP Chemistry, AP Calculus AB&BC, AP Physics, AP US History, AP US Government, and AP Studio Art. I just graduated from UC Davis with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology with Biology emphasis. I have tutored students since I was a senior in high school. I first started with middle school math, but I also tutored Mandarin Chinese during the past summer (2013). No only that I have experience in tutoring, I also know what it is like to be tutored. I moved to the United States from China in 2008. During that time, I was not proficient in English and was having trouble with Pre-calculus. My parents found me a Mandarin speaking tutor to help me with my Pre-calculus homework. I was able to get an A in the class with the help from my tutor and because of this experience, I know what the tutees need during a tutoring session. I value the time and effort my students put in to improve their grades. I also enjoy helping people learn and seeing the happy faces when they finally understand the concepts. I always try my best to make sure the students know how to use the concepts in the future.

Hobbies
Other than tutoring, I'm also passionate about painting, drawing, anything related to design or art. I was in an after-school graphic design program for 3 year. During that time, I proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe InDesign. After I graduated from high school, I also did freelance graphic design with a new real estate company in San Diego. So, if you want any advice in using these mentioned softwares, I would love to help.
