I went to UC - Irvine for my bachelor's degree in biological sciences. I graduated with high honors. I'm looking forward to attending medical school in the future. As a tutor, I like to work with students and help them improve their test scores and grades. My favorite subjects to tutor are math, chemistry, and physics. I have several teaching strategies that I use in tutoring sessions that have proven effective for me as a teacher. When I work with a student, I also interact as much as I can with the family and keep them informed of progress. I believe familial support is very important in the success of the student. I encourage a comfortable learning environment so students feel free to communicate and aren't afraid to give wrong answers. This help students learn faster.
