I am a 2011 graduate of the University of Oklahoma with a bachelor's degree in international studies and letters with a minor in Spanish. I began tutoring people in English when I studied abroad in 2009 and 2010 in Chile. When I graduated from college, I was employed as an teacher at the Center for English as a Second Language at the University of Oklahoma. During the course of the next three years, I worked with students on academic writing and reading, communication skills, and preparation for standardized testing.I also have experience tutoring students to prepare for the SAT, GRE, ACT, IELTS, and TOEFL. Aside from working with students on the English aspects of testing, I am able to help with math and science test prep as well. I have thoroughly enjoyed working with students from a wealth of different backgrounds, and it gives me great pleasure to see my students meet and surpass their goals, whether they are professional, academic, or personal. When I am not teaching, I love watching movies, being in the great outdoors, cooking, making music, and reading.
