I attended Purdue University, where I earned a bachelor's degree in world language education, as well as a focus in Spanish and anthropology. As a tutor, I would describe myself as passionate and experienced. Along with working one-on-one with eager students, I also collaborated with my college professors to come up with a program designed to help middle and high school students improve their English skills. With roughly four years of teaching experience teaching English and Spanish, I've learned exactly what it takes to help students achieve their goals and reach their true potential. I believe that every student has the ability to succeed inside the classroom, and that it's the teacher's job to come up with ways to engage with the students so that they're able to learn in a way that works best for them. As a lover of languages, I spend a lot of time teaching and learning more about Spanish language and culture. When I'm not in the classroom, I like to I spend my time listening to music, learning how to play various instruments, and spending time outdoors. I especially love to go hiking and swimming, and spent a large portion of my youth swimming competitively.
