The best part of being an educator, is witnessing the moment when a student realizes that they have learned a new skill that they previously thought was impossible. I have worked as an adjunct professor and a tutor training coordinator. These positions have given me valuable insight in what it takes to be an effective tutor. I have also written and implemented training modules for tutors to prepare them for working with students. I currently teach college Developmental Writing and Reading. I have attended Florida State University and Columbia University. I am interested in tutoring English, essay editing, college essays, European history, grammar and mechanics, study skills and organization, literature, social studies, reading, and writing. Some of my interests include vintage cameras and darkroom photography. I also reading the history of the USSR, film, mixed media art, and short stories.
