Education

I attended Fordham University as an undergraduate and a graduate. I have a BS in, Elementary Education with a concentration in mathematics and studio art. As a graduate I studies Curriculum and Teaching with an emphasis on emergent literacy (MSEd). I just finished a MFA degree in Creative Writing from the City College of New York.

Experience

I taught elementary education in New York City for ten years. In this time I worked in both traditional and progressive schools. I am moving to the West Coast to pursue a writing career.
