Education
I graduated from UC Berkeley with a BA in Economics in 2010. My GPA there was a 3.68. After, I worked for Pacific Gas & Electric in San Francisco. During that time I learned to take care of customers and get them through the process happily, efficiently, and professionally. Eventually though, I wanted to work in a field where I could help people in a more specific way. With that in mind, in 2015, I completed a post-baccalaureate program at CSULB. I gained the equivalent of a bachelors in Speech-Language Pathology. I have also played piano for 22 years. While that is my main instrument, I also can play guitar, ukulele, and viola.
Experience
My brother always struggled in math growing up, and so I helped to tutor him. He has a creative mind and is quite brilliant, but the way math is commonly taught in school was difficult for him. I enjoyed using his passion for animals to help him learn math. This meant less frustration for him and less frustration for my parents. While high school is far away now, I know I passed all my AP tests, and recall that I received a 5 in Composition, Environmental Science, and Calculus BC. I have solid SAT and GRE scores as well. I want to help you succeed at whatever you want to succeed in! I find joy in making others happy and less frustrated with whatever it is they want to learn. I would be happy to help you achieve your goals.
