Experience
I have tutored informally for the past two years. The experience i gained therein has lead to my current employment with Long Beach City College as a tutor and Supplemental Instruction in general chemistry. I tutor because I am aware of how challenging upper level math and science courses can be. through my struggle with such courses, I have developed a strong appreciation for the fields of mathematics and science. I find joy in being able to guide students from a state of frustration to a state of mind where they can fully understand what is being asked of a problem and how to solve said problem. I feel that when help students achieve this mindset and in turn become self sufficient, Then I have done my job. Notable course work includes: -Intermediate Algebra. -Trigonometry -Pre Calculus -Calculus 1 -Calculus 2 -Calculus 3 -Physics (Mechanics) -General Chemistry.
