Education

I graduated at the top of my class as a Magna Cum Laude and received my B.A. in Environmental Studies at UC Santa Cruz. Recently I was accepted to Cal State Long Beach to receive my Multiple Subject Teaching Credential and will be taking Education classes this Spring 2016.

Experience

I got the opportunity to teach an accredited course at UC Santa Cruz to college-level students. Since then I landed a position in Catalina teaching Marine Science and Environmental Education to K-12 students and am currently pursing classes to become an elementary school teacher. I have also provided one on one tutoring with elementary students in reading, writing, and math and am looking forward to expanding my network. I feel my charismatic and friendly personality encourages students to feel comfortable asking questions and getting to the root of the problem. At the same time, my dedication and hard work ethic challenges students to follow suit and reach their academic goals.
